COMMISSIONS

Thank you for your interest in commissioning a painting! Commissions are a wonderful way for us to partner together to create a customized piece of art that is specifically designed for your space.

Getting Started

To get started, here are a few key pieces of information that I will need to begin:

  • Size. If you need help determining size, I can either come and measure your space in person if you are local, or we can talk through your space together to determine the size that best meets your needs.

  • Inspiration. Let’s talk together and you can share what subject, color, mood, etc. that you would like to have in your piece. If applicable, please share pictures of the space that you will be using to help me better understand the tone of the room.

  • Timeline. My top priority is creating a piece of art that you love, and to be able to do that, I want to give your piece my undivided attention. For this reason, I typically only work on one painting at a time. In our initial conversation, once we agree on size, subject, and budget, I will be able to give you a timeline for completion. Timeliness and accountability are very important and I haven’t missed a deadline yet, but if the need arises, I will notify you right away.

  • Budget. Cost can also be a determining factor in the size of your painting, so let’s discuss your desired investment and how to best achieve your goals with this piece and your budget.

Please note the following terms for commissions:

  • A 50% deposit is required upfront. The balance will be due before the artwork is delivered.

  • Shipping charges will be additional and will be added to the final bill.

  • Two rounds of revisions are included in the process. Additional revisions will incur a change fee.
